UCI Physical Science Department
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core to my personal and professional values. As a Physics PhD candidate at UC Irvine and a member of the Physical Science Department's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, I have actively worked to foster inclusive environments and advocate for underrepresented groups in STEM. Through initiatives like the Young African American Science Foundation, which I founded and later renamed to reflect a broader mission, I’ve created programs aimed at increasing representation and access to opportunities for underserved communities. My experience as an educator has also reinforced my commitment to creating equitable learning spaces where students from all backgrounds feel empowered to succeed. I strive to bring this dedication to every community I serve.
